- Are you stuck in the same toxic relationship patterns?
- What are your deal breakers when it comes to love & romance?
- Why do you stay in a relationship despite the red flag warnings?
- Do you want and deserve more in your current relationship?
RED FLAGS can either be warning signs or blindfolds. And when the seduction is good, a blindfold feels damn sexy. In the meantime all your favorite turn-ons (intelligence, talent, passion, a body to-die-for etc) start circulating around your erogenous zones creating hallucinogenic and aphrodisiac effects. Next thing you know, you're giving your body, mind, and soul to the emotionally unavailable player with addiction problems, no job and a permanent residence with his momma.
And a red flag doesn't even need to be that obvious. It can be a hunch, a feeling or that gentle nudge of intuition that never fails us. We all have that sixth sense that alerts us to the harmful energy that will eventually erode away at our relationship or our spirit. For me, it's something in a relationship that consistently magnetizes my fear of not being "good enough". Or someone whose behavior consistently challenges my trust issues. Or someone who constantly feeds my co-dependent nature or my infatuation with "potential". The bottom line is that we all know when we feel an undercurrent of insecurity, discomfort or doubt in a relationship. And we know when our heart feels safe.
So why do we choose the blindfold? Why are we willing to pour our hearts into relationships that aren't completely in alignment with what we really want, need, and deserve? Why do we choose relationships that don't elevate our spirit or help us evolve into better versions of ourselves? Why do we repeat the same relationship patterns over and over again as if we're addicted to heartbreak?
