- Do you base your choices on your intuition or your fears?
- Do you create the change you want to see, or simply hope that things will change?
- Do you follow your dreams or play it safe?
- Do you speak your truth or hope that others will read your mind?
To achieve anything great in life requires your willingness to risk failure, loss, and even your ego. That requires TRUST. Trust in your intuition as your infallible guide. Trust in your ability to apply the wisdom gained from past experiences to new challenges or situations. Trust in your ability to communicate your thoughts, ideas, opinions, and emotions effectively; knowing that they're valuable and deserve consideration and respect. It also requires that you trust your ability to adapt to change, the timing of your life, and the significance of your entire journey. These are the wings that keep you aloft as you soar toward your highest potential, despite the turbulence of life changes, setbacks, or opposition.
When you spread your wings, you have to do it boldly, because hesitance is heavy with fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt. You'll never catch air with the burden of that weight. For me, that boldness comes from creating a personal manifesto as a constant reminder of who I am, who I want to become, and the legacy I intend to leave behind. It means maintaining daily rituals that nurture my confidence, inspire my creativity, and create inner-peace. And it means surrounding myself with my tribe; a carefully curated group of people with similar values, positive mindset, and an unwavering sense of purpose. People who support me in the brightest and darkest times of my life.
You can only travel as far as your wings will take you. But to spread your wings isn’t instinctual. It’s a choice. Choose to trust your wings.
